1968 Torino GT convertible

Sellingmy 1968 Torino GTI purchased last year. It had been parked ina barn since 1976. The car only has 60,670 documented miles on it.The 390 motor sounds good and theC6 transmissiongoes through the gearssmooth. The original radiator has been re-cored and reinstalled . The mufflers are open on the seams, which makes it loud but the rest of the exhaust is intact.There is a Stewart Warner tachometer mounted on the columnand aftermarket gauges under the dash, they are period correct add on's that still function. Theinterior needs a new carpetand some TLC but all intact.The paint and body appear to be bondo free.Theundercarriage is in better than average condition with no undercoating or previous repairs. The cowl is solidwhich can be a major headache in these cars. The frame rails, rockersand torque boxes are solid. It will need typical lower quarter work done which can be seen in the pictures.Both doors will need to be replaced eventually but do still function.They could be fixed but it would be easier to replace them in my opinion. The paint still shinesbut does have dings, dents and scratches from storage. The convertible top is originaland goes up and down. The topframe has onebroken piece above drivers side rear window. It could be welded or replaced.The piece just bolts on so it can be removed for repair or replacement but the top does still function asis. This car is a running driving project car and with minor work could bea driveror its a great candidate for a partial or full restoration. These cars are hard to find in survivor condition and original like this one.
