Description of 1979 Ford Fairmont Woody |
If you are looking for a nice Fairmont wagon cruiser, look no further.EFI - Mass Air. Custom Tuned with switch chip.Dynomat throughout the body.Dual ExhaustRear disc conversion5 Lug conversionLarge V8 brakes up front (87-93 Mustang spec)New radiator and computer controls the fanCold AC. New Heater coreAOD transmission with PTC stall converter.3.55 gears in 8.8 rear axle.Aluminum drive shaftPaint and body are 9.2 out of 10. Very very few age marks. This wagon was restored before I got it and I made several improvements. BBX X PIPE is now in place. (not pictured). I added the AOD, PTC converter. Completely reworked the AC to new spec and I burned the custom chip myself. The computer controls the cooling fan. ZERO RUST on this car. You pull the hood and the EFI is like it would have come in a 1992 Mustang.Drive it anywhere. I've had several cars painted over the last 10 years. The paint is a 10 in quality. All the trim was removed and done right. No orange peel, fish eye, etc.. The paint is several years old I estimate at least 7. So there are a few minor chips due to age and driving. To duplicate just the paint would be about $7000. The trim removal, replace and detail would be about $1500. You would need to start with a rust free $4000 to $6000 wagon with a near MINT interior. The interior has very very few flaws. We love taking it to car shows, burger runs, and cruise ins. I have too many now and time to move some on!Insured through Hagerty. |
