Copy this link into your browser:The truck is located in Toronto, Canada. This 1965 Ford F100 was originally purchased new from the Mathiston Motor Co. of Mathiston, Mississippi in 1965. It then stayed with the original owner for the better part of roughly 48 years. Around 2013, the track passed to its second owner, The Mathiston Town Sheriff by the way of a trade. Under his care is when the truck received a repaint in Caribbean Blue under Wimbledon White. It was from him, that I then purchased this fine, old Ford in 2016. The F100 is powered by a 3.9 Litre Straight 6, 240 cu. inch mated to a 3 speed “3 on the tree†transmission. It produces 150 hp from factory and currently shows 115,600 original miles. One interesting and extremely RARE feature this truck has is a Dealer Installed, "Dealer Advertisement Bumperâ€. It is engraved or stamped as, “MATHISTON MOTOR CO. - MATHISTON, MISS.†I’ve never come across one previous, as very few were produced, let alone survive. This bumper comes as it originally did from the dealer, in a painted silver. It was one item on the truck I sought to preserve rather than restore. I do however believe it was repainted at one point previous though. The truck is mostly Original, some things have been replaced but everything kept completely Stock and factory correct. Below is a list of the work performed under my stewardship, ENGINE BODY -New hood emblem -New side trim -New quarter panel emblems & rechromed -New exterior door handles -New tailgate arms & tailgate release assembly -NOS windshield and new windshield rubber seal -New rear window rubber seal -New wiper arms and blades -New vent bar channel assembly -New vent window frames/ vent handles & rubber seals -New taillights -New bedliner -New tonneau cover (bed covering) -NOS parking lights and new aluminum housings INTERIOR -New glove box liner -NOS 4 way switch and light -New seat belts -New upholstered seat -New rubber flooring -New side flooring trim -New steering wheel and horn button -New sun visors and arms -New ignition and door locks -New dash knobs -New Headliner -New interior door handles With a 50+ year old truck, She will undoubtedly have some flaws that show her age. I listed them below, trying to be as transparent as possible. -A small paint chip on the drivers side, bottom corner of the cab -The tailgate has some exterior dents, that were repainted over -The metal bed shows previous pitting, that was sand blasted clean then painted over by the previous owner -A dent on the passenger-side trim, front fender For Importing the truck to the States It is very simple and costsnothing ! The truck will have NO duties or fees, as it was originally manufactured in the USA. The truck is FREE of federal emission standards as it was manufactured before December 31st 1967. All you need are the EPA and DOT forms, the forms have a category for "exempt" Here are the links for the EPA & DOT forms https://www.epa.gov/sites/production/files/2017-07/documents/form3520-1-2017-07-secured-enabled.pdf http://icsw.nhtsa.gov/cars/rules/import/hs799short.pdf All the information I received is from U.S. customs 1-877-CBP-5511 Feel free to talk to me anytime at 416 606 3535Thanks Kent Smith |
