Description of 1975 Ford Bronco Ranger |
This 1975 Ranger package Bronco is one of the nicest examples of a “well-loved†vehicle that we’ve seen here at Horsepower Customs. It’s a rare color combination of Baytree Green exterior paint with the green Ranger Package interior. The exterior has that perfect amount of patina while the interior is in great shape with the two front seats re-done with new old stock (NOS) material and new carpet. The rear seat is original as is the dash and dash pad with no cracks. The door cards have that classic Ranger style with the walnut upper and hounds tooth lowers. Every time we take her out we get comments and thumbs up from all walks of life! The mileage shown on the odometer is 48,461 but based on the wear of the pedals we believe it’s turned over once. Mechanically we’ve had the stock 302 engine re-freshed with a new Holly Carb and full tune up. She starts right up and idles like she’s new. Other mechanical work we did to her is full brake job…she stops perfectly with her disc brakes up front. Power steering and a C4 automatic transmission makes her a breeze to drive. Some future mechanical things that may need to be addressed are the speedometer jumps around above 35 mph, the smaller auxiliary (front) fuel tank is disconnected (looks to need a new connection tube from the tank to filler neck), and the fuel gauge doesn’t seem to be working all of the time. Outside of those things she runs great and all the lights and windshield wipers work perfectly…I’d have no problem taking her on a long road trip. The ride height looks to be sitting on a 3†lift with original wheels and hubcaps and new 33†BFGoodrich tires. Like stated above the outside shows a little bit of wear and tear but there is virtually no rust to speak of. This vehicle lived most of its life in the arid landscape of Colorado (even still have the Colorado State Parks Pass from 1990) and then a bit of time well cared for in Missouri. I originally bought this vehicle with the full intention to restore it but never got around to it. I was able to drive it a few times to various car shows and Red Rocks Amphitheater for a concert and realized that she’s too valuable and makes people happy to just let it sit around not being used because we have too many projects. We did the engine refresh with new carburetor and brake tune up, installed the reupholstered front seats, new carpet and a new steering wheel but not much else. We may never see this rare color combination again and if there is anything that you’d like our shop to do to the vehicle before delivering to you please let us know. We can add Air Conditioning or change the carpet color or even do a full restoration if you’d like. Give me a call to discuss timeline and pricing for anything you can think of. For a 45 year old vehicle she’s an amazing example. Although she’s not absolutely perfect she’s perfect enough to enjoy as soon as she comes off the trailer. This vehicle is located in our indoor storage in Littleton, Colorado and although I’ve done my best to describe the vehicle local inspections are encouraged! If you have any questions please call or text me on my cell at (949) 521-1484. I have a great contact for shipping, cost is solely on the buyer though. I can help load and video upon pickup. No warranty is expressed written or implied. Vehicle is sold “as is, where is.†I reserve the right to end the auction early, please call me if you want to discuss further. Good luck and happy bidding! Todd Clement – Horsepower Customs |
