Description of 1924 Ford Other Roadster |
I bought this off Ebay about 5 years ago. It has been used sparingly around my neighborhood . My grandson enjoyed cruising around in it. I do not have any build info on the motor. The Edlebrock carb was put on by the previous owner and performs well. The transmission shifts well. The car runs cool. I recently had the cooling system redone by a local shop. If you look underneath the car in the last picture you can see the new radiator up front. It runs off a thermostat as well as a manual override switch. There was a secondary radiator in the back that I took off once the front radiator was fixed. The car is very stiff. For short around town trips it has been fun. I have probably put 1,000 miles on it. Most of the stuff on the car works. It has a newer fuse panel on the inside passenger part of the firewall. The fuses and their functions are clearly marked on the panel. The turn signals light up but they do not flash anymore. The brake lights worked when I first got the car but need attention now. The exhaust is socially acceptablewith a nice low rumble. Front disk brakes and rear drums. If you look underneath the car you can see the offset angle of the driveline and the safety hoop. If you slowdown quickly after standing on the gas there is a vibration that you can hear from the driveline. That is the only known issue with the car. It has been that way since I have had the car. It could use 2 new front tires. They do hold air. Please ask any questions. I will be glad to answer. I do travel a bit for work so it may take a while to get back with you. Car is on non op. I do have the pink. |
