Description of 1964 Ford Falcon |
This Falcon is a one of one of a kind. This is a rotisserie restoration approximately 3 yrs. old. as you can tell from the underside view. Glass is all awesome. The interior has new carpet. seats. nd door panels. It has a Delta gauge package and everything works except the fuel gauge of which I have changed the sending unit and it still does not work. There is a 1963 console between the bucket seats. It has an AM/FM/XM stereo with rear deck speakers. Car has been completely rewired. Battery a gel cell is in the trunk. Car has 17 inch tires mounted on Shelby wheels all in excellent condition. Car has a 4. 6 cobra engine it is an " R" code ( Romeo) and in my opinion the engine and drive train is out of a 1998 Cobra Mustang. I have been told by the daughter of the builder that the engine was rebuilt when the car was redone it. now has about 20. 00 miles since rebuild. A little history on the car it has spent its whole life in Arizona until I bought it 2 yrs. ago. I have put 2. 00 mi. On it since I bought it. The car was built by a Purple Heart recipient from Vietnam. He was a concrete contractor in Arizona. He passed away at age 60 and I purchased from the family. He did not keep records of the build. I do not think any expense was spared. A few things had not been completed and those things I have tried to finish up. This is a great driver and nice cruiser with very minimal things to fix or do. I'm selling because the wife says I have to many cars. especially if I want to buy something else. |
