Description of 1972 Ford Mustang coupe |

1972 Mustang SPRINT Olympic Special This is a rare 1972 Mustang Olympic special. When was the last time you saw one? It is a 302 v8 with a stick shift with only the basic sprint package with power steering and radio. It was built in 4/72 and first sold on 6/72 in Little Rock Ark. SO NEVER IN SNOW OR SALT RUST FREE SEE PICTURES. it is 1 of 2100 built with this engine transmission combination. I HAVE THE MARTI REPORT AND THE COPY OF THE ORIGINAL INVOICE. The car was restored at some time and they added a ram air hood and the 500 mag wheels along with a new super radio and a giant 750 watt amplifier and woofer in the trunk. The engine I believe was rebuilt at that time, and a HOLLY 4 barrel carburetor and intake manifold were added. Electronic ignition was also added. It was insured for $25,000. It was then involved in a minor accident, see pictures, and I believe it was a scam by the owner since the insurance company totaled the car. Therefore it carries a California SALVAGE TITLE. The car is registered in my name and all fees have been paid, but to finalize and obtain a California title it needs the VIN verified and a light and brake test. What is needed in other states I do not know? I will give a Bill of Sale I had ALL NEW brake system installed including shoes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder and drums. I had the radiator core replaced and it has a brand new passenger fender and grille support. What it still needs: Grille, bumper brackets, bumper, and the hood to repaired, I believe is possible, or replaced and of course partial painting. It also needs a few minor items things fixed i.e. horn since they added an after market steering wheel but never connected it some dash lights and speedometer . The car runs and drives good but for only short distances since it is not licensed. The Reason I am not completing and selling now is another toy has caught my eye and I do not have the needed storage for both projects Transportation is buyer’s responsibility and a NON REFUNDABLE $500 deposit is due in 24 hours. Other arrangements can be prearranged. |
