1940 Ford Standard Sedan. Condition is Used.Older build but built very well.Body is all steel and pretty dang solid with a tad of acne behind the drivers door. Paint is old with that well sought after patina. All chrome is there and in good shape. Front grill has some surface rust on it.Interior is in nice shape. Chrome window trims, A/C, tilt wheel, SW gauges, etc.Drive train is small block Chevy (350 ?) with Edelbrock carb and intake, mild cam and tube headers. Trans is a TH 350 three speed, Ford 9" rear end with unknown gear ratio, front end is Mustang II tubular A arm, rack and pinion steering.History that I know...This car was bought in Colorado in 2016 as part of a much larger trade for a roadster and several Harleys. It went to Montana for a few months and got new exhaust (it's loud) and a complete head job. I have the receipts. Then it got traded to my buddy here in San Antonio Texas for another Harley trade. It has been sitting in his driveway for 3 years.I finally got the car from him a couple of weeks ago. A little gas down the carb, water and air and it fired right up.It's running well.I don;t really call it a "barn find" because I don't know the history of the car before 2016.It's a good looking driver as is or could be painted to make a quality show car. i would keep the patina. The only real issue that I know about is that the trans leaks. Not sure from where, could be the tail shaft.Starts, runs, drives, stops and shifts good. This a very nice older build.Call or text questionsTom210-39 four-1 four 33FYI, the reserve is low, call if you are serious about it.I will assist with your shipper.
