Description of 1974 Ford LTD High Level |
If owning a car you never see at car shows, this might be the one for you! I went to the brain damage of bringing this car home from Australia 15 years ago after seeing one on my travels there and I was blown away by it. Sadly. I have not had the time to devote to it nor do I have the space to store it anymore. It appears the car was originally white but was repainted an original color. Very poor prep work on the drivers side resulted in the paint flaking off and other imperfections. I have treated the bare metal with metal prep to stop any potential rust. There is some bubbling on a small area of the hood. I have no way of know if the car was involved in an accident although it appears it might have. The car goes down the road nice and straight and runs awesome. I just spent 800.00 on a comprehensive tune up and fuel pump replacement. The car is equipped with a 351 4bbl Cleveland motor and C6 transmission. It came with 4 wheel disc brakes and dual exhaust from the factory. It has a velour bucket seat interior with power windows and air conditioning. Air needs recharging. Heater controls are in the console which also have vents for the rear passengers. The vinyl top has been replaced and a electric trunk release was added by the previous owner. It has an aftermarket stereo. The mileage shows 68K but I think that is in kilometers. It does have a dual speedometer scale that is in MPH and KPH. I would seriously recommend trailering or having a transport company pick up the car as the brakes are soft. It will easily drive onto either one. I will include the spare parts shown in the trunk as well as the shop manual and sales brochures. Australia does not use titles so I never got one. It is being sold with a notarized bill of sale. I will be happy to provide any additional pics or details upon request.Independent inspections are encouraged. |
