Description of 1960 Ford F-100 Panel Truck |
I bought this and a few other project vehicles. But need to sell one to fund the other's. It has been setting for many years in a garage. The man who owned it was working on it little by little but for health reason's did not get to finish it. I think in the right hand this is going to be a nice truck to restore. it looks like it has some bondo in the rear Quarters and will need floor pans in the front he had patched them but to do it right you will needs to replace them. Frame looks good and solid other then some surface rust. does not have any major dents that I can see. Does has some rust in the rear wheel wells but not bad. It has a small block ford in it (Not Factory) that does run but not very well. But nothing a good old tune-up and carb rebuild wouldn't fix. The door glass in in the back along with some other parts. Whats is in the pics is what you get. It will move and shifts threw all the gears but I have not drove it anywhere other then around on my property. I used a small gas can with the electric fuel pump that was already installed on the truck to get it running. I am sure the tank is dry and I did not want to put gas in it just in case in it a Bad tank or full or rust so I just did the hoes straight from gas can to carb trick. Tire does air up but has a slow leak on the back driver side. Located in Superior Nerbraska |
