Description of 1928 Ford Model A |
This is my 1928 Model A. It has gone over many improvements over the years. It currently has an 8BA Flathead with a Mccolloch VS57 Super charger (making about 2psi) with a Fitech EFI Power Adder EFI system. It starts, idles, runs and drives in all temperatures. The EFI system even controls the timing which is fully adjusted on the fly as is every EFI paramter. It gets regularly driven every couple weeks. The paint isnt super great. There are chips and I've seen some runs in it. It wasnt a Barrette-Jackson level paint job. The car has a State issued visible Vin # inside door jam, no need tolift cab for frame number. It is registered as a regular vehicle, not historic. It underwent a full safety inspection, brakes, all modern working lights, turn signals, horn, etc. There are no driving restrictions on it. It has an 8BA Flathead V8 with mild cam (don't know the exact specs)– overhauled in the past 8 years unknown mileage but looks low based on the pictures i took when i changed the intake manifold. Billet distributor, Edelbrock aluminum heads, Aluminumspeedy bill intake, adjustable lifters Mccolloch VS57 Super charger kit making 2-3psi Fitech Go EFI Power Added EFI System – controls timing too Fitech Fuel Command Center 2 with return to stock cowl tank (in perfect condition) C4 transmission – overhauled at the same time as engine GM 10 bolt rear with drum brakes – 3.55 gears Pete and Jakes 2094 Complete front Axle with disk brakes 1931 Grill with aluminum radiator 1996 Corvette steering column and clock spring assembly Weld in boxed frame All wooden cross members removed and replaced with channel Wood floor removed and replaced ¼†aluminum treadplatebolted and polyurethane adhesive to frame 2018 Subara BRZ Leather/suede adjustable and flip forwardseats with seatbelts, bolted directly to c channels welded to frame.
