Description of 1985 Ford Ranger

For sale is a 1985 ford ranger equipped with the factory installed 2. 3 turbo diesel engine ( mitsubishi 4D55). I bought the pick up in perfect working condition with the intention of restoring it and keep it. The family got bigger and time is always less so i decided to sell it. The pick up is currently disassembled because I started a frame off restoration. Everything was done the way it should. I had the frame professionally sandblasted and then i applied primer and paint using POR15 products. The frame look brand new without any imperfection. After that. $3000. 00 worth of brand new parts were installed such as: brake lines. shocks. front spring. rear spring leaf. remanufactured rear axle. wheel bearing front and rear. caliber. rotor brakes. brake shoes. drums. OEM rims. BFGOODRICH tires and much more. I have the receipt for everything and you can also see the pictures (unfortunately i can only upload 12 pictures on the auction but there is much more to see). the biggest part of the restoration job is already done and is missing only the body work and reinstallation. The cab and bed they only have surface rust but not thru hole or damage. they are very solid other then a little spot under the driver seat which can be fixed with $100. 00 for a new floor panel and a good weld. The engine and transmission of the truck are in perfect condition and they were working properly before i removed them and they can be reinstall just like that or rebuild if preferred. I drove the truck for 10. 000 miles before starting the restoration and never had a problem. no smoke and very strong power. I have any single part to reassemble the truck and also all the manual and wiring diagram from the factory. This truck when finish is a very rare truck and is worth over $10. 000 and like i said most of the money for the restoration i already spent them. you don't really need any other big part to complete the restoration but only some elbow grease. Even if you don't want to finish the project and just keep the parts (rims and tires are worth over $2000. 00) you can save a lot of money over the retail price. I have a clear title in hand and every single document that came with the truck (see picture). Please contact me with any question. Thank you
