1979 Ford F-350. This is a matching numbers truck! I cannot speak highly enough of this truck. SHE HAS BEEN A BOSS! Never left me sitting! The majority of her life was as a farm truck in Texas, and it shows! She runs like a top! I have put over 15,000 miles on here in the last year. I tow and retrieve cars and trucks from all over the southeast. Big Sally has been my tow hauler, she tows and stops great! It is time for a front and rear brake job, but I have keep the oil changed! THIS IS MY DAILY DRIVER! The truck has a 400 with a Borg Warner T-18 4spd, and a NP205 Transfer Case. The rear axle is a Dana 60, and the front a HP King Pin Dana 60. The 4wd works as it should. The body is shot; but man it is a great work truck! Cab floors a solid ... not one straight panel on the body, it's all worked over! Frame is no bent of welded on, and alignment is good and she drives straight and true! HISTORY AND WHY...This truck is truly rare... it's not a highboy, but those are not rare, Ford made millions. In 1979 Ford Motor Company made it's first 4wd 1-ton truck. Ford produce a total of 985,310 trucks in 1979 almost a million! Of that large number of trucks only 81,636 were 1-Ton and of that only 10,811 were regular cab 4wd! Big Sally is number 1,354. The tank in the bed is it's only fuel tank. I have a brand new fuel tank included with purchase. Fly out and driver her home, she has never left me sitting. COMPLETELY road worthy! HAPPY BIDDING FOLKS!
