California Original, 1981 Ford Bronco 4x4, 91k Orig Miles, U10 (310) 259-5383

This is an original California 1981 Ford Bronco 4x4 with 91k original miles and a rare manual gear box. The Bronco is a 100% rust free "survivor". The body, chassis and frame are rock solid.

The Bronco drives and accelerates extremely well! It has a tremendous amount of power. The 5.8 liter carburated engine idles properly and runs clean and smooth. The engine sounds great and does not leak, smoke, or make any unusual noises.

-The drive-train is solid and tight.

-The engine compartment is clean and well sorted (good hoses belts, etc)

-Brakes, transmission, clutch, steering and suspension are in great shape!

-The 4x4 system wtih locking hubs engages and dis-engages like it should and works great in low and high gears.

-All mechanical, electrical and climate control systems were in proper working order when tested.

-All gauges show normal and accurate readings

-Nice wheels, the tires will need replacement soon

-Everything appears to complete on the truck with the exception of the original radio and the "XLT" B-pillar emblem.

-Excellent trim and original body moldings are in tact and in great shape!

The original paint finish has a lovely patina. There are of course minimal imperfections ie; nicks, chips, dings, touch ups, scuffs, etc. (see pics) They don't come more honest and authentic than this.

The overall appearance is highly respectable!

The interior has wear and tear, but again it is completely untouched and is the perfect canvas to make your own. The center console lid is not original (see pics)

Broncos from this era are not often seen in this original-unrestored condition and are becoming very collectible/highly sought after. The new owner will be pleased with it’s overall condition. Don’t miss out…The Bronco does have a salvaged title. We suspect the Bronco was stolen early on which would explain it. There is no evidence of any paint or body work, so there is no reason to believe otherwise.

The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
