1966 Ford Mustang Selling my unique 66’ Ford Mustang coupe. Original California built C-code v8 car with zero rust issues. It has a beautiful jet-black paint job that’s less than a year old and the interior was all done just a couple months ago. This is a factory v8 car but it has been modified with a late model 302/5. 0 out of an 86 Mustang. The air condition system is also from a late model mustang. This pony is a blast to drive and has tons of power under the hood. Be sure to check out all the pictures and videos on the eBay desktop site because they won’t show up on the eBay mobile app. All the chrome trim was replaced when the car was painted including bumpers. door handles. grill area trim. antenna. GT gas cap. GT exhaust. both windshield’s moldings. drip rail moldings. and emblems. Car has original glass with no cracks. Interior looks factory stock aside from the aftermarket mustang radio (note the dash is still original and has not been cut). It has new carpet. seat upholstery. dash pad. headliner. door panels. kick panels. sill plates. door & window cranks. and misc trim. The paintwork looks great which can be very hard to achieve on a black car. It looks straight and everything lines up just as it should. Paint looks very smooth and flat all around. Doors open and close with the slightest touch just like the day it rolled off the assembly line. There are no rust issues anywhere and it appears to have all the original sheet metal as well. Car has stock suspension. factory drum brakes. and 14” Cragar chrome wheels. Car stops well and handles good at any speed. The engine swap was done by the previous owner. I was told it was rebuilt and had roughly 40k when I bought it. Runs great and can definitely be used as a daily driver. It has a few upgrades as well like Hooker headers. air intake. and a mild computer tune. Known issues: radio works but needs a new dash speaker. Shocks will need to be replaced soon. it squeaks a bit on bumps and dips. The blower on the A/C system is stuck and will need to be replaced if you want the air conditioning working again (it has a blower unit from an 86 mustang as well so should be cheap). Trunk area has not been detailed yet and could use a coat of black spray paint to look uniform. Those square patterns you see in the rear quarter panels and wheel wells in the trunk are Dynamat sound proof sheets that I removed and left a little glue behind. The car has a California salvage title from a very minor front bump to the driver side headlight bucket. I have a full report with pictures of the car before and after the minor accident (posted some at bottom of listing). The car had such a nice paint job that the insurance company salvaged it. The mustang was a Shelby clone (white/blue stripes) before this black paint job. The headlamp bucket was the only thing that needed to be replaced. Aside from these minor issues the car is ready to be enjoyed as is. It turns heads and gets thumbs up wherever I drive it. The Mustang is available for inspection by any serious buyer during the course of this auction. feel free to call. text. or email me to set up an appointment (714) 351-9372. This is a No Reserve listing and the car will sell to the highest bidder no matter what it ends at. View my feedback and bid with confidence.
