I have another toy and this one needs to go. Original 302 V8. C4 automatic. Things done recently: power steering completely replaced (few drips to sort). timing gears replaced. auto trans rebuilt by Ike's. front suspension rebuilt. Engine starts and runs well; brakes are fine. Very reliable driver. Body is solid; no evidence of any accidents. Previous owner made some repairs to lower firewall. Never had any trouble passing TX inspection. Paint is OK but not gorgeous. Things I would do if I were keeping it: this is an original AC car and the parts all seem to be there. but the heater fan motor needs to be replaced and I'm sure the AC will at least need to be recharged. The original radio is there but doesn't work. The heater control sliders need some work (or could be replaced). The front seat is torn and covered. but the back seat is fine. The C-pillar trim panel on one side is missing. but the other is there for a template. The headliner is OK but the dome light cover is missing. The alternator works fine but the light comes on occasionally. The original GT wheels and hubcaps also come with the car. along with replacement carpeting. a new AC idler pulley and a car cover. If it's staying in Texas. I'll include the 68 plates. I am always surprised by how much attention this gets around town. Perfect for a rolling restoration or just to drive as is. I can provide more pictures upon request. Sold as is. If you have any questions. please ask before bidding. I will cancel the auction if it sells locally before the reserve is met. Trust me. the reserve is reasonably low. I'm not just testing the waters; my intention is to sell.
