Description of 1953 Ford F-100

1953 Ford F-100 No Reserve AuctionThis is a 1953 Ford Mild Custom F-100 short bed mild custom pick up. It has a one piece fiberglass front end that tilts forward with gas struts. The rest of the truck is all steel. It has a 351 CID Ford big block Cleveland engine with Edlebrock carb and intake with K&N air cleaner. It is mated to a C6 Ford automatic transmission with B&M shifter. original rear end. and dual exhaust. It has power steering and power brakes. drum brakes on all 4 wheels. It sits on Chrome Zati brand 20" wheels with new Wanli tires. 245 35Z R20 fronts. and 275/45 R20 rears. It has a cloth interior. bench seat. AM/FM stereo with CD player and 2 - 6" round speakers in the kick panels. The body is good and solid with good paint. It runs and drives out well and will cruise at 75 mph all day long. It has a late model style radiator and shroud so it does not have heating issues. The front axle and suspension is stock and drives very nice for original straight axle truck. I have clear Colorado title in hand. I live in Amarillo. x and the truck is located here in Amarillo. You are welcome to come take a look and test drive or have a independent inspection done on it. These trucks when done to a high standard and are fresh are fetching big bucks right now. This is a good quality and dependable driver. The engine is very open and easy to access for any work. This could be a great father and son truck to teach a kid how to tune up and do maintenance on engines.
