Description of 1963 Ford E-Series Van |
1963 Ford Falcon Deluxe Club Wagon This 1963 Ford Falcon Deluxe Club Wagon (model 89D) is 1 of only 2,923 produced for the 1963 model year. This van is complete with the original 170ci and somewhat rare automatic transmission. The DCW featured many upgraded options specific to only this model. Some of those options included chrome body trim, fiberglass window trim, upgraded seats/interior, white steering wheel and chrome horn ring just to name a few. I purhased this van years ago and it has been parked indoors since. It appears to have been last registered and inspected in Pennsylvania in 1989. Everything appears to be complete with the exception of the fiberglass dash skirt, chrome point for body trim (drivers door) and possibly the 3rd row seat (not sure if it originally had one). Original 170ci engine with automatic transmission, ront and mid row DCW seats, fiberglass window trim, interior lower trim panels, complete battery box, radio, white steering wheel, chrome horn ring, original jack, floor mats, ALL glass is in excellent condition, 4 side pop out windows, door/window handles, chrome body trim and more is all present. While this van does have a cool look/patina (in my opinion), the van does have some rust issues around the bottom and rear corners. There is also at least one spot underneath which may need to be addressed. Much of the underside as well as the gas tank appears solid and also has much of the factory undercoat. ALL roof drip rails are in excellent condition with original seam sealer. The A-posts and area around the windshied is in excellent condition with no rot or signs of issues. Factory spec replacement patch panels are available through Mac's, eBay, D&D etc at reasonable cost. This van is a project. It is not running and will need to be gone over mechanically as it has been sitting for many years. I never registered this van thus I have the clean, signed PA title in previous owners name.I do my best to describe everything to the best of my abilities. I encourage you to see the photos and ask any questions prior to purchase. eBay only allows 12 photos to be post in the listing however if you would like others please don't hesitate to contact me. The van is located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It is about 1 hour from Philadelphia or NYC (depending on where in the city). Payment is due in full within 3 days of purchase. Cash in person is the only form of payment accepted. AGAIN, I encourage you to ask any questions and request any additional photos prior to purchase. For additional information or to make and offer, call or text (preferred): 484-223-9186. This van is sold as-is with no warranties or guarantees. |
