Description of 1962 Ford Galaxie

Here is a real XL convertible that was born with a 352 cu in. cruise-a-matic. air condition. power steering. and power brakes. It is in need of restoration but for the most part is fairly complete. The car came from Arizona and is almost rust free except for the following areas: there is a small spot behind the driver's side rear wheel opening. and both rear floor pans will need replaced. If you check the pictures you will see the body is very straight along with the stainless moldings. The trunk is in excellent condition along with the bottom side of the car (except rear floor pans). The interior is complete but the Arizona heat pretty well dried everything out to the point it will all need replaced. The original transmission is still in the car. These additional parts that are pictured comes with the car: A refreshed 390 cu in engine. a rechromeable front bumper. and a very nice and straight grill. These parts are not shown but also come with the car: a top frame mechanism. the head light stainless covers. the rear top metal pieces. and stainless pieces for the front buckets. This is a perfect starting point for a restoration product and the reserve on this car is very reasonable. The mileage on the title for this car is stated as odometer discrepancy so that means that the 35. 92 is not actual.
