Description of 1975 Ford F-100 |
Just harvested from the state of California, GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this bad ass 1975 Ford F100 for consideration. The truck features a rock solid body, newer paint, 8 food box that has been line-x'd, powered by a healthy 390 CID V8 fed by an Edelbrock carb and sidewinder intake, 4 speed manual transmission and 4 Wheel Drive. Options included: Power steering, power brakes, bench seat, am radio etc. The truck sits atop a Ranchero lift, on new polished aluminum rims with 33 inch tires. Other highlights include new windshield, new Diamond Ice paint, new weather stripping, re-upholstered seat etc. Mechanically, the truck is spot on. At the time of this writing, my test drive revealed a motor that performs in a very healthy manor, clutch feel is great, transmission shifts very well, power steering does not moan and the steering turns smooth, and the brakes stop straight. Overall, very good ride quality for a truck built like this and easy driving. I tested the 4wd in high and low. The Lock out hubs unlock and lock with ease. The transfer case engages in high and low without issue and the 4wd system worked as it should. All the gauges seemed to be in working order, the wipers function, the lights and turn signals working at the time of this writing, and the factory AM radio turns on and makes noise. The blower fan does not function with the factory switch, however a aftermarket switch has been installed to activate the fan on and off. Go big or go home. This truck has all the eyeball one could ask for in a vintage 4X4 pick up. Not only is it big an cool, it offers a ton of utility with its 8 foot box. Work and play with this 1975 Ford F100. |
