Caution: Do not buy this truck if you do not want attention! This truck constantly gets waves, thumbs up, folks following to ask questions.. what is it? Is it a Cummins. Folks always taking pictures. (Links Below) 1929 Ford Ford Model A Truck with Cummins Turbo Diesel (Truck) Cummins Turbo Diesel - Transmission TH400 Allison - BFG KO2s Tires - Doulphin Guages - Suspension Four Bar with rear coil overs - Number of Years to build 3 - Body Mods Many This is a 29 cab with 4 inch roof chop... doors are chopped 6.5 Inches. All steel roof now! ... with steel B pillars. No more wood! 32 grill shell and visor. Cab was stretched 6 inches Plenty of room in the cab with flat floor.Custom made stretched frame with trailer hitch. Tow rings on front with frame that extends all the way to end of bed. The bed is a 31 Ford wide bed only made for 6 months. Engine is a Cummins Turbo Diesel which was salvaged out of a snappon tool van which burned to the ground in the Colorado Black Forest fire a few years ago. Totally rebuilt with mechanical VE (EMP Proof) injection pump and Holset H1C turbo. Transmission is TH400 Allison low stall (1200 RPM) torque converter. Has billet adapter plate and billet flex plate. Starter is a ford powerstroke 6.0. Radiator is an aluminum four core 32 highboy with a 16 inch electric puller fan. Rear end is a ford 9 inch posi with 2.75 gears. Currie 31 spline axles. Has power disk brakes on all four wheels with BFG tires. Diesel has no vacuum for power booster so have an electric vacuum pump.Has 150lbs of onboard air to operate train horns. Four bar suspension front and rear. Posie spring on front rear is coil over.
