| 1977 Ford F-250 Ranger 4x4 truck. Factory HIGH BOY. This heavy duty work truck is equippedwith a 460cid V8 motor backed by a Ford 3 speed C6 automatic transmission. The 4 wheel drive is provided by a New Process 203 transfer case, transferringpower to the Dana 44 axle in the front and Dana 60 axle in the rear with a 4.10 gear ratio. It has factory 3 separatedrive shafts connecting the axles and transfer case to the transmission. This combination caused a need for increase clearance to compensate for the additional driveshaft resulting in a higher than average stock ride height and garnering the nicknameFord "highboy". It also has a 4' body list with 35" wheels And has dual exhaust installed. |
