Selling my 1971 Ford Bronco 4x4 with a BMW Turbo Diesel engine conversion. The rest of the drive train is all original to the Bronco except the engine. Has a three speed manual transmission, first year for the Dana 44 front axle. Runs, Drives and stops but will need some finishing of the wiring for the gauges and exhaust installed and other odds and ends to complete the conversion. The engine came from a 1984 Lincoln Mark Vll. Lincoln put these turbo diesels in the Mark Vll in 1984 and 1985. Called a 2.4 Liter BMW M21, runs great and even has a Ford on the valve cover. All the body mounts and cross members are solid and will need the usual Bronco rust repairs. Could just finish the wiring and the exhaust and drive as is or do a complete restoration. The front fenders are new and rust free, I also have new inner fenders that go with the sale. YES, it will need floor pans and rockers, (its a early Ford Bronco). The doors open and shut nice and all the glass is good. The odometer shows 85,925 miles but has not been hooked back up since the motor was installed. A new clutch and bell housing adapter was installed when the motor conversion was done. Has not been driven much since the engine was installed. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION SO BID TO WIN!!!!! I have the right to end this auction at anytime as it is being advertised other places also. I can add a BUY IT NOW price but you must contact me by phone and if we can agree on a fair price for both parties. Call Mike at 402-362-7938 with any questions you might have. Thanks for looking.
