1952 Ford F2 ¾ Ton Deluxe Pick Up You are viewing a very nice fully restored truck that represents a very high end build designed for the road to tow a vintage trailer. Owned for over 40 years. The build was started in 2005 and finished in 2007 and updated in some areas at later dates with 12K miles driven since completed. Full file of receipts go with the truck for the build. The truck has the extra HD features that denoted an F3 back in the day thus the F3 hood chrome. The truck has the deluxe features original to the truck. Over 70K into the build. Please read on for more particulars of the truck: Body/Paint: The body is all original steel to the truck with an NOS perfect tailgate. The body is original except for gas fill opening, which uses the modern fill, no cap design. The body is very nice and straight. The paint is PPG single stage nonmetallic acrylic enamel with multiple coats, wet sanded buffed and polished. The body and paint is outstanding. A particular shade of Chevrolet interior paint was used for the exterior. Very correct looking for the era of the truck. The paint is outstanding and shows well with two color deluxe dash. Beautifully restored bed with solid oak wood and SS metal strips. Interior: Late model Ford Ranger 60/40 split bench seat covered in two tone very thick high quality vinyl. Very soft and comfortable. Storage behind the passenger seat with storage box and battery (vented) behind the driver’s seat with cutoff switch very nicely done. Dakota digital gauges, speedo, tach, volt, temp, oil and fuel. Digital AM radio with stock face. Rearview mirror clock plus another digital clock and map light. Flaming River tilt column shift. NO AC with a very good heater. Very nice matching headliner with dome light. Twin visors with door panels to match. Custom steering wheel. PS, PB. Deluxe model interior features (dash). Running Gear: 351 Ford Cleveland out of a 71 Mercury Cougar totally rebuilt with Edlebrock 650 cfm carb and electronic ignition. Ford C6 rebuilt transmission with shift kit. 81 Ford DANA 60 rear end with 354 gears. Suspension: The frame is stock restored with a front clip out of a 74 Ford Twin I bean front suspension spliced and welded into the original frame professionally installed. Fits very nicely and performs like it should. New stock spring in the rear. Class 3 Tow package with light plug in. Bright work: All restored or replaced and looks beautiful. Glass: All new tinted glass. Exhaust: Dueled 2 ¼ pipe with stock style mufflers. Sounds nice, but quite. Brakes: Fronts are 74 power disc with large HD drum rears. Wheels/Tires: 8 lug machined finished aluminum Vision wheels with like new radial tires with less than 3K miles on the tires. Summary: If you are seeking a very nicely restored truck and use for long road trips or to tow a vintage trailer this truck is worthy of your consideration. Professional restoration and beautiful. Runs and drive excellent and very reliable. Always gets attention at car shows and winner of many awards over the years. Well taken care of and always garaged.
