Description of 1932 Ford Coupe |
Here it is, the holy grail body style of Hot Rods offered atNO RESERVE!!!!!! High bid wins! Located in Naperville,IL 60564. No Title included! No Doors! I DO NOT END LISTINGS EARLY,THAT IS NOT FAIR TO EVERYONE ELSE!!!! Hello, this listing is for a 1932 Ford 3-Window Coupe as-shown. This was a real 1950s Hot Rod that has definitely seen better days. This was recently found in a storage barn. I have no history on it,and I do not have the doors or grill shell, they were not found with it. There is NO TITLE with this! I have not tried to locate the serial number on the frame yet. What i do know is that the body was channeled over the frame about 6-inches, the doors were reversed, the roof and cowl vent filled in, and the firewall swapped from an entirely different vehicle. I barely recognized this as a 32 Coupe! I almost didn`t believe it myself at first. The body is rough to say the least, It still has some solid parts and honestly I believe it to be very repairable. However the roof is dented pretty bad, the wheel arches were cut, there are no floors in it, the firewall is not correct, and someone reversed the suicide doors at some point. I DO NOT have the doors! It has a homemade hood, and a really neat custom made grill, but no grill shell. The trunk lid looks to have been modified somehow. BUT this is a steel `32 3-Window Coupe! We do have the side garnish moldings as-shown! The frame is also rough, but fixable. I have not tried to locate a serial number on it yet. I do believe the front and rear axles, and springs are the original `32 pieces. I tried my best to match up everything we found with the car. Everything shown in the pictures is believed to be for the car and is included. We believe this car ran a 265 Corvette V-8 with an Offy 3x2 Intake and Stromberg 97`s. The short block and heads were found with the car, but were in very bad shape and not worth saving. We did have the intake setup but it has already been sold separately. The cast iron SBC to Early Ford Trans Adapter is present and included. Please look at the pictures to see what is included and what is not. Again, this is a very ambitious project for someone, not for the faint of heart. This is located in Naperville,IL 60564. I would like it paid for and picked up within 1-week of the end of the listing, unless other arrangements are made. Any form of payment must clear my bank first!I would like a $75.00 PayPal deposit within 24-hours if possible. Full payment can not be made with PayPal. You are welcome to come see everything in person if able to do so. On Jun-20-20 at 20:14:57 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer the #1 questions I have been getting: Yes the garnish moldings shown are included and yes they are original steel pieces. No, nothing is fiberglass. Yes, I do know the firewall is incorrect (see original description). We have located the serial number on the frame,it reads 18-176xxx and is very easy to read. It is a late-style frame. Again, everything shown is included. And also again, this is not an easy project. Thank You for the interest and happy bidding! |
