Description of 1929 Ford Other |
Sleek looks, V8 power, and nice details give this 1929 Ford Roadster all the right vibes to be quite a cool street machine. The green paint gets this noticed. After all, a mean machine roadsters are usually finished in flat black. Instead, this one shows that they took a little extra time in the details. The fiberglass body gives you extra smooth curves, and the gloss of the green does a nice job highlighting them. Plus, the lime green and gold pinstriping draws added attention to some of your favorite places, like the steep slope of the rear that allows for the fenders to be the last word in this car's design. There are the right touches of brightwork on the grille, headlights, and around the windshield. And those genuine wire wheels add plenty of distinct sophistication. Of course, the extra meaty rear wheel and tire package gives this the stance that doesn't let us forget it's a true hot rod roadster. The tan interior is a nice complementing color to the exterior green. The slope of the seat seems to give this one an especially roomy feeling, and there are thoughtful touches, like the exterior pinstriping returning in the corners of the dash. The best roadster builds are about a driver-focused machine, and so you have a Grant sports steering wheel on a tilt column, a B&M floor shifter, and the dash is dominated by clean Dolphin gauges. Under the hood is proper small block power. This Chevy 350 cubic-inch V8 is has a good look with a ribbed aluminum air grabber and matching valve covers. There are also good supporting components, like the aluminum radiator. The V8 fires up as it inhales deeply with the Weber four-barrel carburetor, and there's a nice tune coming from the dual exhaust. The suspension has the right hot rod style setup with hairpins up front, ladder bars in the rear, and front disc brakes. This is a smooth-driving roadster that has a nice attitude without losing its hot rod flair. It makes for distinction and fun all offered at a nice price. Call today!!! |
