Description of 1967 Ford Mustang fastback

1967 Ford Mustang Fastback. Very nice looking car with new interior. The paint is about 4 years old. but shows well. There are a few assembly chips that have been touched up. but other than that it looks nice. It has a one piece fiberglass headliner that looks very nice and gives about 2 1/2 inches more headroom. The engine runs well and the transmission shifts well (not a power house by any means). The engine does need to be detailed better. At one point in the past there was a drivers side quarter put on and it was done well. and one small patch on the passengers side front floor board. It does need the trap door prop. I was told it has the original engine in it. I don't know when it was last rebuilt. It does have some normal leaks for an older engine and transmission. I replaced the power steering pump this weekend and I also replaced the front windshield. because it had a big chip right in the middle. The back glass has the normal scratches in it from being close to 50 years old. All the dash and interior lights work. The horn even works. The hood hinges are original and are a little worn. so they raise up a bit when shutting the hood. I just push then back corners down. like most mustangs. There are no rust issues that I know of. The floors. cowl. quarters. frame rails are all very solid with no rust issues. There are two holes cut in the shock towers (see in picture) for greasing the suspension grease fitting. The prior owner put the tires and rims on it from another car and the passengers side tire has some fender rub groves in it from the car they were on. The car has drum brakes all around. For options. it has power steering and a center console. The vin on the inner fender matches the door vin and the Marti report. The door vin was replaced with one from Marti. but I have the original one too. I have lots of receipts from the prior owner. This is a 48 year old car and it's not perfect. but it's solid and a decent driver. I'm sure you will find things to repair. Great little car for a daily driver or just enjoy for weekend drives. The car is being sold AS-IS with no warranty. Please ask all questions before bidding. I can take more pictures if you need them. If you don't ask. then I can't help. I recently bought this car mostly as is. I paid a Mustang friend to put the dash parts in. and some other parts back on the car. Cleaned up the paint some and that's about it. I can't really tell you much more about the car. Building a house and that's where the money is going. If you are looking for a solid car. this one fits the bill. Great fun and a nice looking car. I will take more pictures of the car tomorrow and post them on the auction. I will include more engine pictures. the touched up areas and some closer body shots. The car is very straight.
