Description of 1963 Ford F-100 Truck |
1963 Ford Pickup F100 Truck Rat Rod Super Cool Ole RIDE Data plate shows VIN: F10 CK423472 Decode shows: F10- F100 C - 292 MD V8 2V K- Kansas Factory 423472- sequential numbers show it was built June 1963 114 inch wheel base M - Corinthian White Exterior color F101- conventional series light duty 81 A Conventional Standard Cab A-3 speed manual Ford transmission 12- 3.89-3-3 M Axle MGVW- 4000 135- HP @ 3800 RPM Above is my attempt to decode the factory specs which may not matter to new owner. No running engine No transmission F-100 has a peeling clear coat and that has saved it from RUST Grill is in good condition Headlight Bezels are in good condition Front Bumper is in good condition one bent place Upgraded Power Disc Brakes Four Wheels and Tires Hood has a couple of rusted spots-see pics Body Panels are all in good condition Driverside Bed has damage where someone backed into it and the Bed seems to be a different year model than 1963- but I am not sure about that. Tailgate in good condition Rear Bumper is in good condition Frame appears to be solid Front straight axle ALL Glass is good Heater box looks good Rubber gaskets are good Antique Spot Light Interior nice Bench Seat has updated seat cover nice Door Panels Nice Door Jams Nice Late Model Steering Column Updated Steering Wheel Dash is in good condition Engine is out of the truck and appears to be original must be rebuilt it is in the bed of the truck and goes to the new owner. Radiator Title and original VIN number is on the driver's door as it should be. No Transmission Truck has clutch pedal in proper location I have had this truck in storage for several years We have too many projects for our restoration shop and we need to sell this one ... The frame seems solid and the bed seems solid... Please come and look for yourself. I gave cash for it several years ago in hopes to transform it into a rat rod...and that would not be too hard to do at this point ...But our shop is too busy. And I do not get to work on my stuff often. But there is alot of potential with some sanding away the peeling paint and clear coat and leaving the rustic patina this could be a great looking Ride for an Affordable Project. And if you have an engine and tranny ...you could be riding around in no time at all. If you are looking for a rat rod truck this could be for you. Call or message for more information. |
