Description of 1977 Ford F-100 XLT

Nice Raven Black Ford F100 XLT short bed for sale.

I wish I didn't have to get rid of her. Bought at auction last year and I've driven her every day the last year while my 73 F100 was being worked on.

New DJM kit with beams, tie rod ends, front shackles and hangers, and 4 new shocks.Carter AFB Competition carburetor recently rebuilt.New fuel pumpWheel Vintques Spider Caps
351W runs strong and will get up and go! Edlebrock Performer RPM Intake and Carter AFB Competition Carburetor. Factory AC is all there and in working order, but does need a recharge to be as cold as it can be (It is set up for R12 and I didn't want to recharge it if you wanted to keep it ice cold with R12). C6 shifts smooth as butter.
Front disc brake in good condition, rear drums in good condition. Factory brake booster.

Body is nice. The bed floor is one one of the nicest I've seen, almost mint. There is one small ding (about quarter size) on the top rear of the cab. Cab corners and front cab mounts look solid. Paint looks nicer in pics than it really is. It is a 10 footer. No real scratches, but there are some small chips here and there. I think the truck had a respray or partial respray before I got it, there are some drips on the inside of tailgate and some overspray in spots (a paint shop could probably polish these out) and areas that need to be evened out by a pro. It's not perfect, but if you are using it as a working truck you'll be happy. It does look like both rear wheel arcs had some small work done before the respray. When you look really close you can see an area about 1 inch long on the arch that was probably repaired. The drivers side rear quarter panel has a small area where surface rust is bubbling up from under paint (but it doesn't go through to the back). Top of bed rails have some chipping and surface rust bubbling around the factory drill holes (dime sized areas). It is almost completely rust free, but I don't want you to have any surprises.

Interior has a newer dash pad, carpet looks almost brand new. The seat cover looks fair, but it does have a spot on the seat back where the threads have come apart on a seam (about 2 inches long, could be stitched back). Replacement Ford AM/FM radio.

Everywhere I go people stop me to talk about the truck. You'll have a lot of fun driving it around and talking to people every time you stop.
