Description of 1940 Ford Deluxe

SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY:All Steel 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe Street Rod. Elegant/Refined. Over 5000 hours on a complete frame off restoration with no expense spared, over $470,000 invested, best of everything. Build took 6 1/2 years to complete as you see it today. Every panel as been modified/massaged. Shaved, decked & nosed. Designed by owner. NO Fiberglass, all "Henry Ford"steel.
Engine: 502/502BB Chevy, Dual Edelbrock 500 cfm Carbs/Manifold with "Endurashine" finish. March "Ultra-Drive" Serpentine System with 140 Amp alternator, a/c, p/s pump/reservoir/coolant overflow tank. Custom Valve Covers with 1940 etched on them, custom made 2 1/4" ceramic coated headers, 2 1/2" polished SS exhaust/Flowmaster polished SS mufflers, Accel ceramic spark plug wires, MSD ignition/Billet Distributer, Billet Specialties 15650 Air Cleaner, Lokar Dip Stick, Custom polished SS tubing for A/C, braided steel heater lines, Billet spark plug wire separator's. Performance Rod & Custom polished aluminum radiator and electric pusher fan installed 2018, polished transmission cooler. Electric fuel pump/gas filter under rear of car.

Body Modifications: Custom front fenders with Juliano's 1937 headlight buckets/custom bezels, Ford glass lenses cover Rodwox 7" high output LED Projection headlight's with Dual Halo rings. Front grille is chrome with solid SS trim and chromed chin pan. Rear fenders have their radius changed and 2 1/4" added to the bottom and bobbed with a custom roll pan. Frenched '59 Cadillac tail lights. Hood was welded into one piece & has an electric linear actuator to open it/1956 Buick fender ports (gold plated) dress the sides while solid SS trim adorns the top. Electric cowl vent, one piece windshield/side glass, custom power sideview mirrors with built in turn signals & stop lights/power windows. Running boards have gold plated "Ford" script on each. Suicide doors with electric/manuel safety pins. Custom rear bumper made from chromed spring steel and 1934 "Weed" bumper medallions/bumper brackets shortened & pulled close to the body. Rain gutters removed/roof welded closed and custom reveal fabricated (see photo). Underside of body covered in bedliner/painted to match body color. Safety cable for trunk/remote battery junction terminals/cut-off switch/push button to open drivers door(if U lock door with keys inside) located under rear of vehicle. Custom mounted electric license plate holder under left side of rear has back-up camera attached. Doors/Windows can be opened with Key fob.
Interior: Custom steel console/dash, power bucket seats/custom made back seat/headliner/door panels/trunk all covered in "OYSTER" ultra-leather/burgundy carpet throughout interior & trunk, custom sun-visor's with 7" LED Screens (driver's side hooked up to back-up camera on license plate, passenger side is DVD player with remote control, Bercart Rear-View Mirror lights up with all shift points/high beam/turn signal indicators, Billet third brake light above rear seat, Lokar shifter/brake/gas pedals/trunk/hood releases. Ididit tilt steering column topped with BilletSpecialties 14" Banjo steering wheel with simulated Burlwood & vintage suicide knob, Ford horn button. Stereo by CustomAutosound has cassette & hidden CD player with remote control. Watson's StreetWork's switches and HOT SPOT push button ignition. Art Deco knobs, Vintage Air controls for a/c. Matching (3) point seat belts/interior/trunk lights by Juliano's. Ron Francis wiring throughout. Dolphin gauge's handle the vitals. Stash box behind speaker grill hide's third a/c vent/electric cut-off/safety pin/cowl vent/hood/electric license plate switches.
Chassis: Modified "Downs" chassis painted to match. Heidts polished tubular/adjustable A-arms/custom polished parallel 4 bar with banjo x-member, RideTech adjustable "ShockWaves" with ride height sensors at all four corners. Wilwood 12" 4 piston disc brakes, polished/ drilled/slotted SRP coated rotors/SS braided brake lines (2018),TH400 automatic connected to a polished aluminum driveshaft, Ford 9"rear end shortened 2"/3.50 posi, Flaming River power rack & pinion steering. Boyd Coddington 8"/12" "Dictator" series wheels with Pirelli P-Zero 225/45R17 M+S on front & 315/35ZR20-110Y run-flat tires on rear. Vintage luggage in the trunk holds a custom RCI 17gal. polished aluminum fuel cell and battery. RideTech "airpod" Dual compressor set-up hidden in trunk. Vintage luggage autographed inside by "BOGI" from ALL GIRLS GARAGE.
Vehicle comes with a portfolio of all receipts, labor logs, original e-bay listing, car show folders by year, wiring diagrams, instruction booklets, window glass patterns,extra rug material & Oyster Ultra-leather. Hundreds of photos showing construction of vehicle on disc's.
