Description of 1964 Ford F-100 Coyote Restomod |
We bet you stopped to look at this 1964 Ford F-100 Restomod because it has a slick and mean look. But as you dig just a little deeper, you're going to find a restomod with all the right pieces that back up this attitude. This includes an upgraded suspension, custom A/C interior, four-wheel disc brakes, and a modern fuel-injected Coyote 5.0-liter V8 heart. The paint instantly announces this one is something different. It's a shade of sliver borrowed from BMW's palette. And it lives up to these premium standards with a big investment in a deep and shining presentation. You see the luster so nicely because there's less than 1,200 miles on the total build. The modern color is also part of a more modern total package. Expertly deleted trim, sport mirrors, painted front bumper, smooth rear roll pain, and LED headlights are all part of this sleek and detailed contemporary look. Plus, the 18-inch Coys alloys on the lowered suspension are pure performance. But even with all the added flair, this F-100 never loses its classic attitude. The restoration cost over $100k, and so that means a thoughtful presentation. They took the time to get the panels straight so that you see the best vintage details, like the creases in the hood and swoopy lines over the wheel arches. And the triple rocker stipe is a cool nod to the best speedy Mustangs while also announcing this truck's upgraded powerhouse. The dark tones of the exterior continue inside with an interior done in a tasteful mix of silver, black, and dark gray. The seats are comfortable buckets finished in a hand-finished supple leather. You've got power windows, a cup holder center console, LED lighting, an AM/FM/CD/XM stereo with modern Bluetooth, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. But this truck is more than just upgraded for comfort. The wood-rimmed sports steering wheel a great Cobra performance piece. It's mounted on a tilt column, so that you can get an excellent view of the crisp Classic Instruments gauges with large speedo and tach. We often see engine upgrades in these classic Ford F-Series pickups, but nothing as cool as this. You're going to love lifting the hood at car shows and seeing jaws drop when people spot the 5.0-liter Coyote V8. This is such a modern fuel-injected motor, that you still get a similar V8 in a brand-new Mustang GT today! Not only is this a serious powerplant, but they gave it plenty of extra go-fast goodies. It has a 11:1 compression ratio, forged crankshaft & connecting rods, 80mm throttle body, upgraded air intake, and ceramic-coated headers feeding the dual exhaust. This awesome motor was dynoed at 450 horsepower! Ford's four-speed automatic transmission Is a stout unit that can handle the power and deliver overdrive comfort. It feeds a 4.11 Ford 9-inch rear with Currie axles w/lockers that give you powerful take-offs. And because this truck has the power to be a true street machine, they upgraded the suspension to really be best on the streets. That means a Fat Man tubular A-arm setup up front, a Fat Man four-link rear, adjustable coilovers all around, and rack & pinion power steering. You've also got the superior grip of modern performance tires and a Wildwood four-wheel disc brakes setup with drilled & slotted rotors. The sale comes complete with the build receipts and photos that document the time and $$$$$ that went into this awesome custom build. You even get the magazine where this was the cover car! This is an outstanding classic with a modern performance heart. And while it looks mean, it's oh so nice to drive. Call today!!! |
