1990 Ford F150 XLT Lariat Why This Car Is Special We have a 1990 Ford F150 XLT Pickup here at Skyway Classics that is the kind of truck that is a loaded but still made a great work truck also. The Ford XLT was and is a workhorse truck icon that was manufactured Ford and ours wears the original paint has only 27K actual miles, and was garage kept since new. Mechanical The inline 6-cylinder under the hood looks quite original and is a great choice in the F-150. With ours only averaging around 1,000 miles annually, this pickup has led a pampered life. The engine compartment looks as if it just drove off the showroom floor! Low mileage does not mean it missed out on maintenance, and the way this one fires up readily proves it. The fuel-injected motor neatly straddles the line between power and economy, and it's mated to a rugged four-speed automatic transmission. It has power steering and power brakes and runs on white letter BF Goodrich Radial TA tires and chrome mag wheels that give it a great look. Interior Inside it has the Ford XLT Lariat interior, with ours in red cloth on the seats for comfort, and black trim on the dash to give it a more luxurious feel. It has matching door panels, red carpet and floor mats, the original stereo, original factory steering wheel, a full set of factory gauges, air conditioning, along with all the rest of the Lariats features. It has a great original burgundy paint job that shows well on the sheet metal that has such low mileage on it. The XLT Lariat trim package has a lot of brightwork, full-length body rubber and stainless trim, wheel well moldings, big chrome bumpers, brushed stainless steel tailgate insert, plus a Ford bed cover in the truck bed, and dual exhaust with chrome tips coming out the rear.
