Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions found at the bottom of each listing, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1994 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4x4 that just came in as a NEW FORD TRADE. I would rate the exterior of this Explorer to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. I should give this Explorer the "above average" rating, honestly, because the average one is in the junk yard...but not this tank. This one is still kicking ass and taking names. This Explorer is finished in Green and Tan two tone over matching Tan cloth interior. The exterior finish cleans up well, for its age, but there is no shortage of blemishes and imperfections...as one would expect on a truck of this age and mileage. However, the body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors, and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. You can see that the rockers are rusted through on both sides. The factory running boards are both still present and feel solid. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this old Explorer came in. I would rate the interior of this Explorer to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The headliner is sagging, which is expected at this age...but at least it's there and not torn to shreds. The seats are clean, comfortable, and show very well. The power windows, locks, and mirrors all work properly. The audio system has been upgraded with an in-dash CD player, which works well and sounds good through the factory speakers. Here's the real mind blower...the air conditioner is still blowing ICE COLD AIR! This Explorer even comes with the original owner's manual. The cargo area is spacious and clean. I couldn't believe how clean and complete this Explorer came in. Please make sure you take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Explorer appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. Her road manners are pretty good for an old truck. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering feels good, too. I can tell you she'll need brakes. The brakes stop the truck fine...so no worries there, but you do get some noticeable pulsation in the pedal. The engine kept perfect temperature and good oil pressure on my road test. The brake and ABS lights are on, as you can see. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. The push button 4WD system is still working properly, too. I can hear an audible vacuum leak hissing somewhere under the hood, but it doesn't impact performance and it won't throw a check engine light because this Explorer is older than 1996 so the emissions software isn't as advanced. She runs down the road pretty good, too, for an old truck. If you're in the market for a solid old truck, you know they're next to impossible to find anymore. This old Explorer is far from perfect, but she definitely deserves some respect and would make a nice, simple, capable vehicle for someone. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
