1994 Ford Mustang Indianapolis Pace Car COBRA Convertible

NO RESERVE!!! For sale is my 1994 Ford Mustang Indianapolis Pace Car COBRA Convertible.

In total, Ford made 1000 units of this model, and this one is unit number 264.

I’m the second owner. The original owner told me this car was one of only ten Indy cars to circle the Indy track before the race started. After circling the track, the car sent to Ford dealer and was offer as new to the public. The guy falls in love and bought it right away. Pretty cool history.

I have the original build sheet with the original Ford invoice.

This is a real COBRA Mustang. It has the last 5.0 engine with 5 gears.

It stock from top to button, in very nice condition. The ride is smooth and fun.

Car start, shift, cruise and stop like brand new car.

No oil leaks. Oil pressure and Engine temperature show normal. No warning lights. Zero rust. Very clean.

Very low mileage. Come with the original and unique/hard to find convertible/Cobra cover.

Garage kept.

New convertible top, and new carpet.

It has clear FL title on my name but it’s a rebuilt. The story..3 years ago during hurricane a tree branch felt on the top and damage it. The insurance company decide it will be cheaper to tag it as rebuild then repair it. Since then, the top repaired by new one. (no damage to the frame what so ever)

just start the engine and go for a ride. People love the cars as where ever I go it get thumbs up and free smiles.

Two things will require attention:

1. speedometer stopped working on 20,655. Original owner told me one day it just stopped and he never repaired it since it was Sunday/weekend cruiser. I assume with the mileage I put the car have less then 25,000 miles. You can really feel it when you drive, as the car drive and feel like new.

2. AC will need to be charged with gas

3. The front seats has a crack. I assume because someone at some point had sharp item in the pocket..

I used the COBRA for Sunday cruiser, but since a new baby added to the family, we can’t use it any more. The back seat is not enough for baby and 2 little kids..

HAGERTY marked the Mustang COBRA as a true collectible car and value just keep go up. This is a true collectible Mustang Cobra with great legacy that you want drive and hold.

In its condition, I have the confident to jump and drive it anywhere in the US
