Description of 1988 Ford E-350 Econoline Grumman Cargo/Camper E350 Grumman dually Cargo VAN

1988 Ford Econoline 350XL Grumman BoxWas used to travel around to Moto cross competitions, with motorcycles and competitive riders.
Has sleeping area for 2 to 3 people in the front camper area. rear area was for motorcycles and tools. (See Pictures) Heavy duty box. It ran, but the fuel tanks needed to be cleaned, last year it ran with thrust spread or direct fuel too carbs. Right now the tanks are off, I had the main tank cleaned by a radiator shop. Last year I had a guy who was going to get it running, he took the fuel tanks and air filterer off, while the tanks were being cleaned. He got a full time job, and I lost touch with that mechanic.
All the parts and the fuel tank are in my garage and when it sells, I'll put the tank and few parts in the back. It has a Kawasaki generator inside it. It needs mechanical work, regarding the fuel tank, (It mostly sat for 17 years) it also may need an alternator and battery. He registered it and used it again. briefly in 2009. The true Mileage is 153706, it turned over past its limit of 99999. but it ran great when it was last parked, but had a battery issue, it went dead over Time, it mostly sat in 2009 he re-registered it and moved to Littlerock where it mostly. collected dust in that driveway from 2009 to 2019 mostly as storage. ... Until I bought it 2019. I did buy it and at my home with a gas prime it started up, but the fuel in the tank was resinated. The seller had told me to change the fuel first off and clean the tank.
I eventually did have a traveling mechanic I found to removed the tank and I brought it (The tank only) to Radiator Depot in Lancaster Ca, A radiator and fuel tank cleaning co. and they charged me about $300. to clean it out and boil acid wash the tank or whatever they do.
They said they would only do it if there was no rush as they were busy and the tank was in great shape other than the fuel was like resin, they kept the tank for 2 months and finally said it was ready to go, it is now clean like new. I lost touch with the mechanic I got from Craigslist. Now it's been about 8 months or so, total, since he took the tank off.
So now I have the tank back and it's clean and ready to put back in but the guy who took it off is not available. Plus, I'm now doing walls and concrete in my back yard where it and 2 other trucks were stored. A dirt area I had it and the two other trucks is going to be concreted. So I had to move the 3 trucks I own that don't run. By now I just lost interest in fixing any of my three trucks and I'm gonna sell them all. I just don't feel like going through the hassle of finding a new mechanic with the virus issues etc., plus I bought another bigger box truck since then as well and there's just not a lot of room with the walls being built and the concrete.
I'm going to Be selling the other two vehicles Ones a yellow Ryder type moving van (1995 Savana GMC) with a blown head gasket and a 2001 Chevy X cab dually with bad/missing drive shaft and axle issue, It struck a fire hydrant wire a back wheel. these others I'll sell as well soon.
HISTORY:
This Ford/E350 Grumman Trucks' History prior and since 2003 as I heard it at time of me buying it in early 2019;
The last owner I got it from said he was an original guitarist in a popular rock band from the 80's and that his son was later,(Late 90's early 2000's) a champion Moto cross racer.
The house where I first saw it backed in a driveway, looked boarded up and overgrown, abandoned, even had an Andy Gump chain link fence around the long unwatered and dead front yard. But I could tell someone was living there!I knocked on the plywood door because I could hear drums and guitars being played loudly inside the house.
I knew someone was there, but the house was boarded up and they never answered.

Three or four times over the next couple of months I went back over, and a few times I Heard Guitar and drum noise with amplifiers inside... but, No one answered the door
There actually was no front door, Just Plywood as In said... I did see a pit bull in the back yard the first time and a half full dog bowl in front every time sometimes empty, sometimes half full.,. ... I eventually left a note on the door and another business card or two with a note in the gate area and on the van itself.
One day out of the blue, a few months later, I got a phone call, and the guy said he owned the van, and was going to sell it. I made the arrangement to go meet him. He met me in his front yard, the front plywood was pulled open, a grungy long haired guy blondish hair met me, a mostly gentle old almost crippled by age Pit bull dog lay near the half full dog bowl, indifferent to me.
The nice gentleman bragged he was a very good guitarist and an X-rocker. (Twisted Sister) We chatted for at least an hour as I wondered how much he would sell it for.
I told him I was interested because I liked it, and if nothing else, I could use it to store garage junk in it.
he told me the truck's and his full story, I think he said he was once one of the guitarists with twisted sister, it's been almost a couple of years now.I remember searching the internet at the time for images of him with the bank, but was unable to verify if I saw him or not!
I heard it run with with a fuel prime, he told me, the fuel will be really bad as it had a full tank and just sat where it was for 17 years. .
He told me "They; (Him, his wife and his son) would travel from city to city sleeping in the truck at truck stops and attending his races. The long haired 60 something lookin guy said " We were pulling in 20 Grand a month from his son's Moto cross wins" (*I think his son was adult by then) They said their son was a top Moto cross racer and raced Kawasaki's and sponsored by Mid Moto Paramount Ca, and his son had won hundreds of trophies. Their son eventually broke his pelvis and leg in 2002 or some time near then... The guy said "I was so upset and Pissed" ... I asked him Why, was the injury really bad? He said "YeaH! but that's not why I was pissed" We totally lost our INCOME! I chucked at his priority, I think he might have even said his son broke or fractured his back! But the X rocker seemed to be more concerned about his loss of income at the time of the injury. He said his son is fine now and was doing hydro pot farming for a while, and he opened his garage door as I held a prop 2X4 he handed me... The garage was full of dust, He told me where to place the wooden 2x4 as he held the dilapidated wooden garage door up, one spring broken. Hyro hoses and cardboard boxes covered in a half inch of dust piled all over as dust poured down on me from the door. He searched for the Kawasaki Generator he said went with the truck. We moved 10 0r 12 cardboard boxes full of trivial items and there were many trophies from years prior and times forgotten. He said that that trophy money paid their bills and they were living on the road, it sat in their driveway in Littlerock Ca, until I saw it and knocked on the door inquiring about it while my company was trimming the trees across the street.
As I looked in his back yard, I noticed the house directly behind his own, looked very familiar. I realized it was the exact house (Behind his and {catty corner one over} was the exact house my fiancé's lived in in 1989 when she was a killed in a car accident. My 2 month old son "Justice" survived that accident in his car seat. He said he only moved to littleneck around 2009 and never met the neighbors or knew about that 1989 car accident, which happened just a few miles from those homes in Littlerock Ca, I guess he was deep into thee rock N roll scene in the 80's and early 90's and likely living in Paramount Ca or Los Angeles area. (I have the article somewhere on my YOUTUBE channel. So the house my 2 month old son was living in, almost directly back to back to his yard was interesting, but he never really met them he said, these are big 21/2 acre horse properties, (No horses, just tumble weeds now.) My son's grandmothers home was also sold off and vacant at that time as all had passed away from there and the my son had gotten a small share of that homes sale just months prior as the trust finally divided the meager appropriations 20 ways.
So We agreed on a price, I arranged a tow with AAA, who eventually said it was too big under my policy so I called Raul from AJ Towing and I got it towed to my house for $100.00 bucks. It sat here at my house ever since. It ran only as long as we fed it fuel, The seller said he believed it had a bad battery it and it wasn't staying charged. Might have electrical issue he said.
I mentioned it to him about my YouTube channel which is ETERNALBLACKPROJECT, I gave him a Youtube channel business card as well at that point. Which promoted my video Backmask Prophecies #15. I always try and promote my channel by usually just leaving cards in various places. I do feel that there's a deeper purpose for most things.
For instance, while placing this add, I Re-GoOgLeD "Twisted Sister" and first video that came up was entitled "King of the Fools" Since I do Backmask music videos reversed on my channel, I went ahead and listened to that song in reverse as well as forwards. I will definitely use what I heard on my next BackMask Prophecy video which I will then download onto my channel. Because even forwards the song "King of the Fools" has a deeper meaning to me and whoever wrote and sang it. Oh yeah, the truck... Relax, the ENd's near, I'll end this long note and ad here because that's way more history than was or is needed. but, it "IZ what it iz.
Well, that's this trucks truest testimonial and history of this vehicle as I heard it or as I know of it since about 2002. Yep, that's my first hand knowledge and or full and truthful understanding and memory of my hearing of it.
BTW, Grandma's house was 9654 E Ave S-10 Littlerock Ca,
God bless ...
