THE 1966 FORD MUSTANG
Hello there! My name is Al Rivera, and I am a broker. I have been asked to sell this car on ebay for a family friend.I took all the pictures myself with my digital camera. The pictures are as they are, no photo shopping.
Here we have an original 1966 Ford Mustang. One of the cars produced in the early years. You've seen the 1964 1/2, and the 1965 and now at this auction is the 1966.
The Ford Mustang has always been a special car, and famous since the beginning. Over the years, now, a lot of Mustang enthusiasts have been trying to get their favorite year or favorite model. This Mustang was actually built in San Jose, California, and then taken to Los Angeles, where it was first sold. It has never left Los Angeles since it got here. Nice southern California car. The weather has kept it from getting that undercarriage rust you can get in older cars over time, but not this one.
The current owner is only the second owner of this car! Wow! Kind of exciting. The engine is the original 289 V-8 with automatic transmission. The engine has been rebuilt and has about a 1,000 miles on it.The engine is the original matching numbers engine, which, makes this more of an attractive investment.I think you will notice that this Mustang carries the well sought after original California black license plates too!
This car was always garaged kept. The body is straight, no dents. The car has never been smoked in. They did everything right on this car, inside and out, including, engine, suspension, using authentic Ford Mustang parts, wherever possible, such as the front end, shocks, new exhaust system from front to back, brakes, tires, drives and handle like new. Transmission works perfect. The interior is new, seats, carpet, dash, headliner, and everything works. You open the door and you can't believe it, that its so new and even smells new.
The moldings, and glass are original. As you look closer, you notice that the paint looks pretty good for it's age, and we do know, that the paint has only been re sprayed only once. I did notice a little rust in the upper roof rain gutters, but that's all the rust I see. It is a very complete car, and they have done a great job of keeping the Mustang original over the years. I noticed that it has the original Ford windshield washer plastic bag, which looks so cool. This is a real nice car and worth the time to look at it and drive it. If you were looking for a Ford Mustang, or a nice classic to drive around, this would be the one. Don't let this one slip through your fingers.
