Description of 1972 Ford F-250 |
| Ford F-250. Recently restored. Motor rebuilt. Vin shows a 360 but during rebuild it was converted to a 390. No rust, Arizona truck. Truck runs good. Has 10" subwoofer with amp and aftermarket stereo. Tires are less that a year old. Bed is carpeted with a bed cover. Aftermarket AC blows cold. Insurance appraised the truck at $15k. Took it to my mechanic for a presale inspection, his only recommendations are to get the driveshaft balance as there is a slight vibration @ 30mph and to possibly put aftermarket fan or radiator on it as it runs a little warm during the Phoenix summers. To be clear it does not overheat, will get up to 205-210 when idling in traffic when it is 100+ degrees outside. It also has a 160 t-stat in it to help it stay cool in the summers also. This is very common in the FE motors. Has a 4 barrel edlebrock carb on it and a mild cam. Any other question please ask. |
