Description of 1972 Ford Ranchero

1972 Ford Ranchero Squire with a 429-4V V8 with a C6 rebuilt with a shift kit that chirps into second and sometimes third gear.Originally white now acustom gold paint overlaid with ghost flames, black vinyl top, ginger vinyl bench seat and a sun roof. Came with the Visibility Group and per Marti was one of one due to this option.
Car travelled from mainland US to Hawaii, then to San Francisco, and now resides in Massachusetts but spends winters in a heated garage in Rhode Island. Looking to move to a new local but will go wherever its new owner wants.
A/C is all there but does not operate. Heater has also been disconnected by previous owner.
New high torque starter and electric fuel pump added to eliminate vapor lock issues during parade duty.
September/October 2020 Old Cars Report Price Guide places a #3 car at $17,550 and a #2 at $27,300. You need to add 10% for a V8.
Will need tires. They are a little wobbly from all of the travelling over the years.
I replaced the spark plugs, etc. Recent oil and filter change. Runs cool, appropriate oil pressure, no noises from under the hood except for the low rumble you would expect.
