Up for auction is a stunning red on red 1964 Thunderbird. I am listing this car for a friend. His name is Bill and he has owned the car for quite a few years and knows its history. What I do know is that it originally was a California survivor car that ended up in Arizona. It was then shipped to Massachusetts where it has resided in Bills garage. It is a very straight and dry car and has never been rusted or rotted in any way. The interior is mostly original and really nice for its age. The only flaw I have seen is a crack in the dash. The condition of the interior speaks volumes about the cars history and upkeep. In one word: excellent. I do know that the car was painted around 10 Years ago when it arrived in MA. It has held up very well and shines great. I did notice a spot of checking on the roof if I am to be critical. It is unnoticeable to when viewing the car normally. In my opinion, what sets it apart from other 1964 thunderbirds is the color combination. The red on red is fantastic and looks great on most cars of the era. The engine and drivetrain all run and drive very good. The car runs down the road well and is used most every weekend that it is nice out. The power steering will seep fluid if the car is parked for a few weeks. The AC compressor was replaced but is not blowing cold. All the components are complete and it did work. However it stopped being cold a two summers ago. This is a really really nice survivor T-Bird.
