1926 Ford Lakes Modified
( NO RESERVE ) This car has the right look, built in California in the 90s. Titled as a street rod with a North Carolina VIN number in my name (Don’t ask, that state is crazy). Very nice design and build. Body is a narrowed front half of a steel 26 Ford touring. Hood and lower panels are aluminum. Frame is a very nice custom build for this car with quarter elliptical front suspension and model a rear, plus custom friction shocks on all four corners. Motor is a GM 2.5 four with a 350 transmission and the rear is a ford eight inch with a quick change cover ( I have never seen one of these before, it is very cool). Tilt wheel, naugahyde upholstery, Stewart Warner Gauges, and it has a heater, plus a fun exhaust cut out. The car could use some cleanup and detailing, all I did was drive it. It drives like a old sports car (quick steering) FUN. It has a compact interior with a small foot box like a old sports car, but it’s a blast to drive (I’m 5’9” 160).
