CLEAN AND CLEAR TITLE IN HAND
The first-generation Ford F-Series is a series of pickup trucks and commercial vehicles produced by Ford. Introduced in late 1947, the F-Series was the first post-war truck design from Ford. The first generation of the F-Series would remain in production until 1952.
F-Series trucks were assembled at sixteen different Ford factories. Serial numbers indicate the truck model, engine, year, assembly plant, and unit number. The most common model was the F-1 with a 6-foot bed followed by the F-2 and F-3 Express models with an 8-foot (2.4 m) bed.
1948: Feature a wider, longer, and taller cabs. Model designations for trucks were badged as F-1s.

THIS 1948 FORD F1 IS A DEPENDABLE DRIVER QUALITY STREET ROD THAT APPEARED IN NUMEROUS MAGAZINES AND WAS EVEN A PART OF THE 1996 CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY BROCHURE. THE TRUCK IS EQUIPPED WITH A CHEVY 400 SMALL BLOCK V8 AND 350 HYDROMATIC TRANSMISSION. THE TRUCK HAS A CUSTOMIZED 1971 CHEVY MONTE CARLO FRAME TO FIT THE TRUCK BODY AND ALL DRIVE TRAIN, SUSPENSION AND BRAKING SYSTEM COMPONENTS ARE OEM CHEVY. THIS MAKES FOR A VERY COMFORTABLE GOOD HANDLING STREET ROD WITH PARTS READILY AVAILABLE. THE INTERIOR IS IN GREAT SHAPE, NO RIPS OR TEARS. THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS ARE ELECTRIC AS IS THE HEATER. THE AC UNIT IS NOT OPERABLE DUE TO A HOSE FAILURE, SHOULD BE AN EASY FIX. THE PAINT IS 74 CORVETTE BRIGHT YELLOW LACQUER AND ALL BODY COMPONENTS ARE STEEL, NO FIBERGLASS. THE CARGO AREA WAS FINISHED LIKE THE EXTERIOR AND A WEATHER TIGHT COVER AND COMPARTMENTS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED FOR LUGGAGE, CHAIRS ETC. THIS ONE OF A KIND 1948 FORD F1 CUSTOM PICKUP RUNS, DRIVES AND LOOKS GREAT.

Buyer is responsible for shipping costs. I can cooperate with your shipper. This vehicle is advertised on other websites, so I have the right to end the auction early if it gets sold.

Payment
Please, be ready to buy when you click. A non-refundable $500 deposit is due when the auction ends. The final payment is due within 7 days after the auction ends. Balance is to be paid via bank wire or a certified bank cashier's check. Check will need to clear before the vehicle is released and the title is sent. The winning bidder needs to contact me within 24 hours of auction end to make payment arrangements. Please, arrange all financing prior to bidding. If you are not sure about anything, please don't assume - just ask. I'm very easy going and will help in any way I can, but, please, be absolutely sure that you are ready to buy when you bid. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
