Description of 1972 Ford Mustang |
Welcome to my auction! You are bidding on an amazing numbers matching all original rare 1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback, with original 351 Cubic Inch 5.8 liter Cleveland V8 with Cruise-O-Matic 3 speed automatic transmission!
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION
After I purchased this incredible Mach 1 at the Mecum live auction in Denver, CO on July 13, 2019, I spent the past year making this amazing car look and run almost new, including the following:
I had the car put on the dyno when I first purchased her from Mecum. She ran at 187HP and 274 ft lbs torque. After all of the work I did to her and after the original engine was professionally stock rebuilt, she was put on the same dyno and she ran at 210HP and 285 ft lbs torque! She runs so smooth and so fast!
STANDARD FACTORY OPTIONS
OTHER EXCITING FEATURES The beautiful light pewter metallic paint with the iconic black Mach 1 "hockey stick" strip package looks to be original!
The all black interior looks to be original, including the headliner that looks brand new!
The original 2 speaker 8-track player works great!
Includes original window sticker, build sheet and owner's manual.
I have every maintenance record since she was purchased brand new on July 29,1972.
THE ONLY ISSUES THAT I AM AWARE OF ARE: Air conditioner does not work.
There is minor wear and tear on the original seats and floor carpet. (I installed seat covers and floor mats to hide the wear and tear)
I have the title in hand, so if you are ready to own this numbers matching all original rare piece of automotive history, now is the time to grab her before she is gone.
