Description of 1993 Ford Bronco XLT |
I am the second owner and have gone through this vehicle thoroughly to make it a great daily . It has had new quarters patched in and new paint about 6 years ago. It is presentable but wont be in the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The E4OD transmission was replaced at 179k in 2018 with a remanufactured unit from AAMCO in Layton, UT. Yes I have the paperwork, called and confirmed.. I also went ahead and replaced the shifter cable and MLPS. Now, here is what has been done to it within the last 300 miles. For the front end and steering I replaced the upper and lower ball joints, new tie rods and drag link, new sway arm bushings and end links, new steering box and pitman arm, new pro comp ES 9000 quad shocks front and back, new pads, rotors, calipers, and abs sensors. Previous owner did the a-arm bushings. After this was done it went to point•S for the alignment and brake fluid flush. I was informed the rear brake cylinder was leaking so I had them do a complete rear brake job with new drums, shoes, cylinders, and hardware. The cooling system has been replaced with the following: New radiator and cap, new hoses, new heater core, new water pump, new thermostat and housing, and fan clutch. While this was out I went and put in a new timing chain and gears as well as timing cover. While the timing cover was out I put in a new harmonic balancer and oil pressure switch. All hardware was replaced with stainless steel bolts aside from the stud kit. The stud kit is new, just not stainless. I removed the throttle body and installed a new gasket, throttle body positioning sensor, fuel pressure regulator, and idle air control valve.. The tank was drained of the old gas at pointS, new fuel filter and i went and had them do a fuel pressure check and the pump is doing what it needs to do I gave it a complete tune up with plugs, cap, rotor, wires, ignition coil, MAP sensor, air filte, ignition module, oil and oil filter, I removed the EGR valve, cleaned the ports, new gasket, EGR positioning sensor, and EGR valve control solenoid Tires are brand new 31" and I installed new WARN locking hubs as well as a new transfer case motor. New front wheel studs and lug nuts. I also put in a new windshield wiper motor and wipers. Widshield was replace from the previous owner. New Motorcraft battery and terminals.. I installed new window belt weather stripping, door handles, and the courtesy bulbs while the panels were off. Yes, the rear window works on the dash, not the key. Everything on this truck is stock all the way down to the radio. I have the original owners manual and warranty card. There is ZERO mickey mouse wiring.anywhere in this rig. A/C was converted to R-134 and blows cold. Seats are in good shape. I didnt take the cover off the drivers side but i reached under it and you can feel some fraying of the fabric. The power lumbar is functioning well. What it will need is a new carpet kit or vinyl flooring and the headliner in the back is starting to sag. This obviously doesnt affect its functionality but wanted to let people know. The previous owner took out the cargo area flooring and put in some type of bedliner paint I dont think I'm forgetting anything else. Please do not hesitate to contact me with ANY questions BEFORE bidding.Cheers! |
