Fender skirts, lots of chrome and a new black convertible top really make this car pop. The interior is done in white and yellow vinyl and looks just like it did in 1951. Get behind the wheel and the dash will transport you back to the time of "I Love Lucy" and Perry Como. There is no mistaking the 1951 Custom dash and steering wheel. The trunk is stock with plaid trunk mat, spare tire and some very neat documentation. There is also a black convertible top boot cover and a car cover that come with the car. Under the head purrs a 239 CID Flathead V8 that runs great! It is paired to a Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission. 1951 was the first year for the automatic, so before this you would have had a 3 on the tree. This automatic transmission makes driving much easier and more enjoyable. With just the push of a button the power convertible top goes down smooth and gives you an open air experience.
