But you have to look back one year to the GT 390 in Bullit to remember that there's reason they call the Mean Little Mustang. For high performance in lighter vehicles. the 320 HP big-block S- Code was hard to beat. As a forgotten gem. authenticity with a 390 Mach 1 is less of a headache than some other Mustangs: and the Marti Report solidifies the origins of this example. This was the final year for the S-Code 390 and it was installed in fewer Mustangs than the 428 Cobra. Jet.
