Description of 1969 Ford Mustang |
Up for sale is a rare and real, project 1969 R-Code, Drag Pack, Mustang Mach1 with factory tachometer. All VINs match, and I have the Marti report which is included in the ad. Sold with a bill of sale.I purchased this car in late 2019. I have the bill of sale from the previous owner. I also have an original bill of sale from the owner before that from 1992, and a registration from 1984. I was going to get a bonded title, which is easy to do with this documentation, but the earliest appointment I could get at the Secretary of State isn't until February. I don't believe this has ever been in an accident. Originally Meadowlark Yellow with a White interior, it is a 1 of 267 vehicle based upon just this. Another interesting fact is this was originally sold by Tasca Ford in Rhode Island. The original drivetrain was gone when I purchased it. I have since located and installed a 28 spline Mustang 9" rear end. This is a big restoration project and will need a fair amount of metal work including frame patches, front torque box repairs, quarters, floors, and cowl. Some new sheet metal is included, and I have other original sheet metal I will offer the winning bidder for an additional charge if they are interested. Please contact me for more information if interested. Includes new door skins, three new engine bay aprons, new rear frame rail sections, new outer wheel houses, and a new deck lid. Also includes a very nice, new, metal (not fiberglass) ram air cleaner and scoop setup. I have the tach cluster and a clock cluster. Also includes the original tach wiring harness. All original rear fiberglass panels are present along with the folding rear seat assembly. The trap door is an original from another vehicle. No rear seat. Front buckets are very nice with excellent seat tracks, but from a '70. The rear of the console is damaged but all of the pieces are there and can be reassembled fairly easily. Rim blow steering wheel will need restored. Several other parts are included and are pictured. Not pictured, but included is a steering box and center link. This is a great opportunity to get a rare Super Cobra Jet, Mach1 Mustang project that someone hasn't already cut up, and make it your own. Being sold with a very reasonable reserve. Many other pictures available, but I'm limited to 18 in the auction. Please ask all questions prior to bidding. Vehicle is located in Hartland Michigan and can be viewed prior to the end of the auction by appointment. This is available for sale elsewhere and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Payment is due in full, in cash or by bank transfer, before the vehicle will be released. Shipping and all costs associated with it, are the responsibility of the buyer. If you need help with shipping I do have a contact who may be able to help. Thank you, and please ask all questions prior to bidding. |
