1965 Mustang roadster convertible with removable fastback roof

Up for sale is this beautiful 1965 mustang with a removable fastback roof. You will be the talk of the town and the center of attention everywhere you go, especially car shows. These cars are rare - only 1 or 2 come up for sale each year. The body is solid with no signs of any major repairs over the years. The floor boards are also solid and have no evidence of rust. The paint is a fresh coat of UK06 House of Kolor Burgundy with white stripes - the clear coat has been cut and buffed to a beautiful shine. The interior carpet is about two years old, the rear seat was freshly reupholstered to match the brand new Pro-car Elite sliding/reclining seats. The interior doors were stripped and repainted to show the original factory texture. The steering wheel, dash, bezels, glove box, soft door panels and console are in good condition with no damage. There are minor scratches on the metal dash below the glove box from an improper fit. The glove box has been properly adjusted but it should be noted that the scratches are there. The radio is the upgraded (Retro Sound) that looks original but has bluetooth, MP3 and voice capabilities. The car started off as an 8 cylinder 289 coupe and was converted into a roadster (convertible without the soft top) by the previous owner. There was an interior/exterior reinforcement kit installed as will as sub-frame connectors. The front brakes were also upgraded to 4 piston disc breaks along with a new dual bowl master cylinder. The engine is a rebuilt 289 with a 4 barrel Holley carburetor and Edelbrock Performer intake, headers and rear exiting dual exhaust. The exterior chrome is either new or continues to show very well. The front and rear suspension systems are new including new A-arms bushings and springs. The car runs and drives like it came off of the assembly line. The wheels are 17” (645) Riddlers with Nitto Neo Gen performance tires. I have additional photos and videos available. Feel free to come take a look.
