I was told by the original owner this is the HighPerformance 289 engine. Has the rally-pack mounted on the steering wheel. Somerust has been cut from the floor pans and rivet patched with metal. Carpetremoved. Fuel tank has been removed. Engine ran strong last time I started it20 years ago. Original owner swapped the original taillights with those from athunderbird - including synchronized blinkers – so the tail panel has been cut/modified.AC was added. I DO NOT have the title. I came into possession of it around 1995from the original owner who was a skilled professional mechanic. The vehiclewas last registered in Virginia. Buyer must coordinate and pay for transport ofthe vehicle. On Jun-18-22 at 21:23:00 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATES: Added some additional pictures of the under-carriage / fram, the door plate, and VIN number in response to some of the questions sent. Based on the VIN number, I'm not sure about the Hi Performance engine, it's been 25 years since I discussed it with the original owner. He may have put the high performance heads on it, or something else, I can't be sure. Just want to provide all the info I have so you can make an educated bid. |
