You are looking at a 1968 1/2 Ford Mustang fastback 428 Cobra Jet R code mustang. Only 1044 R code fastbacks were produced in 1968. These cars were the first to receive the famed 428 Cobra Jet engines. Very desirable cars and skyrocketing in value with driver quality and concours examples bringing well over $100,000 today.

Factory standard green interior. 8k tach gauge cluster which is an important piece. Look at pictures as they act and the description.
Body and Paint:
Car was repainted grey with door graphics in the 70s. Overall body of the car is very straight and it’s all original metal except the trunk lid. It’s been replaced but it is ford. The car has the wrap around shock towers and staggered shock plate in the rear.
The car is a GT so the GT fog light grille, gas cap, and wheels are all present. The car has a little rust in the bottoms of the doors and bottoms of quarter panels. Floor pans and trunk pans looks very solid. Torque box has some scaling.Look at pictures as they act and the description. Typical tops of fender apron small rust holes. Correct style 68.5 aftermarket hood scoop.
