Description of 1965 Ford Mustang

What is more American than baseball, apple pie and cruising the highways in a bright red 1965 Mustang?

Didn’t get anything cool for Father’s Day? You have a graduate that needs a car and does not want to be seen in some plastic battery on wheels? Been looking to get into the classic car hobby and don’t want to drain your 401K? Here is the perfect car for you.

You are looking at a 90,000 mile 1965 Mustang with the 200 cubic inch six cylinder and 3-speed manual trans.

what I can tell you about the car...All mechanical systems seem to work properly and be in good order (brakes, steering, transmission and engine)

I have been driving this car back and forth from the office to home for a week and have not found anything that would stop me from driving across country if I had to. The following is a list of items replaced, upgraded, or repaired (at a cost of over $5500.00) by the previous owner in the last 8-12 months.

The car presents well, but like any unrestored 50+ year old car the body has its issues. The paint is driver quality - there are scratches, dings, and chips. I would guess previous bodywork was amateur as it does not look like a professional shop did the paint. The rear frame rails have been repaired with new rail kits on both sides. This was most likely done at the time of the new rear springs. Floors look good from underneath with no rot or holes or visible patches. Doors, hood, and trunk all open, close and lock as they should. All glass is intact and all windows work. All lights and signals work, along with aftermarket under-dash gauges. Original radio is not hooked up, but a new CD player stereo is mounted in the glove-box and sounds great. Interior is complete but does show some wear as seen in the photos. I am guessing carpet has been replaced at some time, as it is too nice to be the original.
